Shamma Rashid Hassan Alnaqbi

I am Shamma Rashid Alnaqbi, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Port & Shipping Operations from Sharjah Maritime Academy. I studied for four years the basics of the marine navigator and in the fifth year I had hands on experience in all what I learned at college when I started my cadetship with Zakhar Marine company as a deck cadet. During my training, which lasted for almost a year, I enhanced my knowledge related to my major. I feel proud to be the first batch of Emirati women who worked in this sector, and I hope to become a role-model for future generations to follow their passion and dreams.
