His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi is a Member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates, Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, and President of the Sharjah Maritime Academy. His Highness holds two Doctoral degrees, the first in History from Exeter University in the UK, and the second in Political Geography from Durham University in the UK, in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from Cairo University in Cairo, Egypt. His Highness also holds 15 honorary Doctoral degrees from renowned universities around the globe.
