- Disabilities in Evacuation - Leisure Lab Methodology to Support an Algorithm-driven Evacuation Prediction Model for Cruise Ships IEEE Nov 2021 The study was conducted using a hemiparesis simulator, with a course of 16 stations, in an amusement park in Vienna. The results showed a significant reduction in walking speed among participants using the simulator. These insights are used to develop a decision support system for evacuations and to improve evacuation algorithms.
