Marine Risk Management & Incident Investigation is a professional programme designed to strengthen the capability of maritime leaders and safety personnel to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks, while conducting structured and objective investigations when incidents occur. By combining preventive risk management with systematic incident investigation techniques, the programme enhances organisational resilience, reduces recurrence of accidents, and supports continuous improvement in maritime safety performance.

Entry Criteria:

·        Applicants should hold a Certificate of Competency (CoC) as Deck or Engineer Officer (OOW level or above), or have relevant shore-based experience in maritime operations, HSE, marine assurance, or port operations.

·        A minimum of 12 months’ seagoing service as a certificated officer, or equivalent practical experience in marine operations, safety management, or technical/HSSE roles within a maritime organisation.
