Dr. Ali Abu-Nada is an Assistant Professor in the General Education Department at Sharjah Maritime Academy, with a robust academic and research background in quantum computing and applied physics. He has held teaching and research positions across the UAE, Jordan, and the United States, including the Higher Colleges of Technology – Center of Excellence for Applied Research and Training, Isra University, Southeast Missouri State University, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
Dr. Abu-Nada holds a PhD in Applied Physics, with specialization in quantum information, quantum error correction, and open quantum systems. His research contributions focus on developing quantum algorithms for simulating molecular structures and understanding the behavior of quantum systems using noisy intermediate-scale quantum processors. He also has experience in molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo simulations, with published work that reflects a strong interdisciplinary approach.
