Summary:
This course provides training for officers and ratings, as a basic training programme appropriate to their duties, including liquefied gas tanker safety, fire safety measures and systems, pollution prevention, operational practice and obligations under applicable laws and regulations. It is about safe handling of liquefied gas cargoes.

- Contribute to the safe cargo operation of a liquefied gas tanker
- Take precautions to prevent hazards
- Apply occupational health and safety precautions and measures
- Carry out fire-fighting operations
