The course provides trainees with guidance and information to gain knowledge, understanding and proficiency required to achieve the objectives of the learning outcomes to demonstrate the standard of competence for all seafarers assigned shipboard duties as set out in tables A-II/I and paragraph 8 of section A-VIII/2 of the STCW Code

Entry Requirements

Prerequisites

The trainee should have competency of using ECDIS, ARPA radar, radio equipment, electronic navigation aids

as well as SMCP, COLREG, IALA, navigation knowledge.
