The course provides trainees with guidance and information to gain knowledge, understanding and proficiency required to achieve the objectives of the learning outcomes to demonstrate the standard of competence for all seafarers assigned shipboard duties as set out in tables A-II/I and paragraph 8 of section A-VIII/2 of the STCW
