This is a practical course, consisting of aseries of exercises structured around the operation of the cargo and ballastsystems of a Chemical Tanker and carried out using a liquid cargo handlingsimulator (LCHS). Simulator-based cargo planning, ballast operations andemergency management. 4 Days

3.     Pumptheory and characteristics, including types of cargo pumps and their safeoperation

4.     Loading, unloading, care and handling of chemical cargo

6.     Safety Data Sheet (SDS) of variety of chemicals

7.     Proficiency in the use of the IBC and IGC Codes
