Summary:
The course provides underpinning knowledge for dealing with crowds in emergencies; rules of crowd management, including mustering procedures; and factors affecting human behaviour in emergencies; as well as awareness of life-saving appliance and control plans.

STCW Competencies:

·        Contribute to the implementation of shipboard emergency plans and procedures to muster and evacuate passengers

·        Assist passengers en route to muster and embarkation stations
