This course aims to meet the mandatory requirements for refreshing seafarers for familiarization, basic safety training and instruction in accordance with Section A-VI/1-3 of STCW Code.
• Meeting the minimum standard of competence in fire prevention and firefighting,
• Operate fixed fire-fighting installations.
• Breathing Apparatus procedures.
• Shipboard fire-fighting organization and procedures.
• Search operations.
• Transfer of casualty.
• Trainee will be competent to take appropriate measures for the safety to personnel and of the ship.
• Use firefighting equipment correctly to extinguishing different types of fire.
