Sharjah, UAE – 12 May 2026 – Sharjah Maritime Academy has announced a new Master of Science (MSc) in Maritime Operations Management, a future-focused postgraduate program designed to prepare maritime professionals and graduates for leadership roles across the global maritime, logistics, and port sectors.
Accreditedby the UAE Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), the program reflectsthe Academy’s commitment to supporting the UAE’s maritime vision by developingadvanced national and international talent equipped with the expertise requiredto lead modern maritime operations, digital transformation initiatives, andsustainable port and logistics systems.
Thetwo-year program combines academic knowledge with practical industryapplication and focuses on key areas including integrated maritime operations,maritime logistics, operational efficiency, safety and compliance, smart porttechnologies, and sustainable maritime practices.

Sharjah Maritime Academy continues to strengthen its position as a leading maritimehigher education and training institution through a growing portfolio ofnational and international accreditations and recognitions. Recently,the Academy secured new international accreditations for its undergraduate programs from the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST)and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), reinforcing its commitment to delivering academic programs aligned with international maritime, engineering, logistics, and transport standards.
Theprogram is targeted at maritime professionals, port and logistics specialists, engineers transitioning into maritime operations, as well as professionals working within government and regulatory entities.
