IMO Model Course 1.35

Summary:

This is a practical course, consisting of aseries of exercises structured around the operation of the cargo and ballast systems of an LPG Tanker and carried out using a liquid cargo handling simulator (LCHS). Simulator-based cargo planning, ballast operations and emergency management.

2.     LPG tanker systems and equipment

3.     Pump theory and characteristics, including types of cargo pumps and their safe operation

4.     Loading, unloading, care and handling of LPG cargo

5.     Effect of bulk liquid cargoes

6.     Safety Data Sheet (SDS) of LPG

7.     Proficiency in the use of the IGC Code
